This 3-way tri-amplified studio monitor preserves the exceptional performance characteristics of its predecessors, the Footprint01 and Footprint02, while being more compact and affordable. Departing from our traditional sealed cabinet designs, the Footprint03 embraces a fast transient ported enclosure, achieving remarkable low-end extension that upholds Barefoot’s renowned standards in bass articulation. The cabinet’s stressed assembly techniques and substantial weight for its size contribute to outstanding stability and damping.
The Footprint03 boasts a 1″ ring radiator tweeter, a 3.5″ midrange driver with an aluminum cone, and a forward-facing 6.5″ aluminum cone woofer, each meticulously designed to maximize linearity and enhance fidelity. The incorporation of advanced magnet and motor systems, large copper shorting rings, and improved heat dissipation techniques ensure minimal distortion, longer excursion capabilities, and reliable performance during extended use.
The Footprint03 also introduces SPOC™ (Spectrally Optimized Conversion). This groundbreaking and patented conversion and DSP technology further elevates the experience, providing higher resolution, reduced latency, and frequency-optimized signal processing for audiophiles and professionals alike. Like all Barefoot monitors, the Footprint03 includes MEME™ monitor emulation that adds another layer of versatility, making the Footprint03 a true powerhouse studio monitor in a small package.
